These upgrades were showcased at EXPO Richmond and represent the next step in our commitment to helping wood processors maximize their operations.
Tilt Hoist System
The new Baker Tilt Hoist system automates the log loading process, reducing manual labor and improving safety on the infeed side of your operation. Engineered to handle logs of various diameters and lengths, the tilt hoist smoothly transfers logs from the deck to the infeed conveyor with minimal operator intervention.
Key benefits include reduced labor costs, improved operator safety, consistent log presentation, and seamless integration with existing Baker equipment lines. The tilt hoist can be configured for a range of production capacities and log sizes.
Unscrambler
The Baker Unscrambler takes the guesswork out of log positioning. This automated system singulates logs from a bulk deck and presents them individually to the infeed, ensuring smooth, continuous operation downstream. It's an ideal companion to our resaw and scragg mill lines.
By automating the log singulation process, the unscrambler eliminates bottlenecks at the infeed, reduces the need for manual log turning, and helps maintain a steady production pace throughout the shift.
